One of the largest museums in Hainan Province, Hainan Museum of Ethnography is a window on the history and culture of the indigenous Li and Miao nationalities as well as the Han and Hui people.

Located on Yaxu Moutian north of Tongza City, the museum features a traditional Chinese rectangular courtyard, eight exhibition halls and a handicrafts shop. Visitors to the Hainan Museum of Ethnography are treated to highly educational displays illustrating the heritage and social customs of these fascinating peoples.
