With peaks towering more than 1,000 m above sea level, Bawangling Natural Conservation Area is comprised of a craggy range of mountains stretching across southeast Changjiang and Dongfang and Ledong counties.

Visitors to the conservation area will discover 10,000 sq ha of primeval forest and more than 1,400 species of trees and plants. Bawangling is also the habitat for a wide variety of rare plants and animals. A "must" for hikers and naturalists.
